PhD Lecturer at the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising II (Complutense University of Madrid), where she works since 2008. Positively evaluated for Associate Professor by ANECA. Intense research activity in the fields of gender and media, communication for development and history of communication. She has participated in nine competitive research projects funded by Spanish and European institutions, four of them are still active. Author and coauthor of 11 book chapters released by recognized publishing houses, such as Nordicom, Ocho y medio or Fragua. Nine articles in scientific journals indexed in the databases JCR, IN-RECS, LATINDEX, RESH and MIAR. Curator of art exhibitions and installations at museums. Documentary filmmaker and producer, recognized with international awards.
