Co-director. Since 2008, he works as Associate Professor for the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He holds a degree in software engineering and a PhD (2002). His PhD introduced the INGENIAS methodology for the development of Multi-Agent systems, which has been widely cited. He is the co-director of the GRASIA research group. He has been involved into international projects, but his main concern is with industry with which he keeps an active link (Telefonica I+D, Ibermática, Technosite, Boeing Research and Technology). His technological expertise is constantly updated. He has knowledge about web applications, mobile applications, model driven engineering, and agile development, to cite some. Development and research interest cover several areas. Recent contributions refer to SmartGrid management and Ambient Assisted Living domains. For both, different development platforms have been published as Free Software.
