P2Pvalue is a FP7 European STREP project that aims to: study online communities that create commons (e.g. Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap, FLOSS), that is, Commons-Based Peer Production communities; understand which are the main factors that affect the evolution and productivity of such communities; propose metrics and rewards at the individual level for the promotion of participation; build a decentralised software platform that incorporates recommendations to boost macro sustainability (of communities) and micro sustainability (of participants); test the platform and the hypotheses in real communities.
